Pure Marine Collagen Grade AA

Collagen is simply an amazing food supplement
that helps the body's repair & renewal systems to work more effectively.

Collagen to Fight Ageing

Collagen is a powerful long-term anti-ageing protein. It improves the skin's elasticity and suppleness, reducing lines and wrinkles. Taken in its almost natural and original form, collagen produces a firmer, more even toned skin and helps to achieve a glowing radiant & more youthful complexion.
Without enough collagen only life maintaining repairs can take place. Less essential repairs are not done. As we become older even essential repairs have to be neglected. This is the disease we call ageing.

Your skin should feel smoother over the first few weeks, gradually becoming firmer. The lines & wrinkles in the eye area will begin to diminish and the lip border area start to fill out.

Without enough collagen your skin & body is old, whatever your age! No Anti-Ageing system can be effective without an adequate supply of body collagen.
Your body does not get collagen from food, it has to make it. By ingesting collagen (not digesting as food), your body lifts its own collagen production to that of a younger person.

Weight Loss & Reducing Body Fat

Collagen, taken orally, can help the body metabolise fat, it therefore has a roll to play in both weight management and the production of lean body mass in both sports and body-building.

Collagen is used in protein synthesis with the body's energy source, fat, to produce the necessary proteins that the body needs to repair muscles, ligaments, tendons etc.
Taking collagen orally, you can stimulate your body's own collagen production. Almost all the body's renewal and repair takes place during the first two hours of sleep. The overall effect of the increased fat metabolisation due to the increased renewal & repair activity is a decrease in body fat.

Anti-Inflammatory, Pain Relief, Joint Health

Collagen has been shown to reduce damage to joints and stimulate significant reductions in joint pain, tenderness and swelling.
A Harvard Medical School study on the effects of orally administered collagen for reducing inflammation and relieving pain (Dr C Searling, Fresco CA.) proved conclusively that almost 90% of those taking part had remarkable results - resulting in a changed life-style for many.
Collagen can reduce oxidative damage to joints and stimulate reductions in joint-pain, tenderness and swelling.
Collagen naturally stabilizes the body's immune system and helps neutralize the production of abnormal molecular structures known to be a major cause of joint misery and stiffness, especially in rheumatoid arthritis.
Collagen naturally consists of 15% glucosamine and 15% chondroitin sulphate - two substances renowned for their beneficial anti-inflammatory properties.
It functions as a chondro-protective agent and protects cartilage and synovial fluid against deterioration.
Collagen can bring real relief from pain by directly combating ageing tissue and arthritis by aiding normal repair of ligaments, tendons joints and bones while improving the connective tissue of the skin.

How Collagen Works
Previously collagen could not be produced in a form that could pass directly through the intestine wall and into the blood-stream intact and the only way was by injection. The problem with collagen injections is that they are only effective locally around the site of the injection, just plumping up the skin, and are very expensive.
Now that collagen has been produced in a form that can pass directly into the blood-stream intact, a whole new anti-ageing system has become available to everyone.
Once we pass our late 20's our body's have less collagen than they could use and a slow decline starts, but by ingesting Collagen such as Pure Marine Collagen  into the blood-stream, we are changing that situation.
Suprisingly, the presence of the collagen that you have ingested also stimulates the body's own collagen production.

What Happens

During the first few hours of sleep we go into what is called the Alpha Sleep phase of the brains sleep cycle. During this cycle the brain's pituitary gland (a vital part of the endocrine system) releases hormones into the blood-stream and we go into the rejuvenate, repair & replace mode (the collagen being the essential part of protein synthesis).
Having the correct hormones and Collagen available, the body can synthesize all the protein it needs, not only to do the "essential to staying alive" repair & renewal work, but also less essential repair & renewal like re-building the skin, strengthening ligaments, cartilage and bone, normalizing the immune system.
In other words, the body begins to try and do all of the things that took place when we were a young and growing person!
Collagen is simply an amazing food supplement that helps the body's repair & renewal systems to work more effectively.

Meehoon Soto for lunch today

Today, I have a special request for 'meehoon soto' from dear Mr Mama (hubby le tuh...)

Hmmm....never in my life I cook meehoon let alone 'meehoon soto', so I've googled up some 'meehoon soto' recipes and came across a blog with I think quite a simple recipe of 'meehoon soto'. Seems quite tidious and a handful lots of things and process to go through....so I think I'm gonna keep it simple though...hehehe [oh, it's so me to simplified things **with rolling eyes**]

I think I might skip the 'begedil' thing. Too high tech for me...hahaha...So I think I'm gonna replace the 'begedil' with some oversized meatballs that I can find at the groceries later on.

So guys, here is the recipe that I got from the blog.

Sup Soto

Bahan2nya:

Bahan2 kisar:3 ulas bawang merah2 ulas bawang puteh1/2 inci halia
Bahan2 lain:1/2 ekor ayam (dibersihkan dan dipotong kecil2)1 sudu rempah sop Mak Siti dan 1 sudu rempah kurma(dicampurkan dengan 1/2 cawan air dan dikacau rata .... ketepikan)Rempah campak (1 inci kulit kayu manis, 5 biji buah pelaga, 5 kuntum bunga cengkih, dan 3 kuntum bunga lawang)2 batang serai (dititik)2 helai daun pandan (dicarik2 dan disimpul)1/2 sudu kecil garam1/2 sudu kecil gulasedikit serbuk perasa1/2 cawan minyak untuk menumisair secukupnya
Cara2nya membuat sup:
Air pula mengikut paras ayam didalam periuk tu kalau nak sup dia pekat tapi kalau nak sup dier cair sedikit lebihkan lah sedikit air nyer ok.Biarkan dier mendidih seketika. Setelah mendidih masukkan garam, gula dan serbuk perasa.Seterusnya biarkan sup tu mendidih lagi lebih kurang 10 minit. Kemudian padamkan api dan bolehlah dihidangkan.

Bergedil

Bahan2nya:

300 gm daging cincang (minced meet)3 biji ubi kentang (dibersihkan, direbus sehingga empuk dan dilecek lumat)1/2 cawan bawang goreng1/2 cawan cili merah yang dihiris1/2 cawam daun sop dan daun bawang yang dihiris1/2 cawan bawang merah yang dipotong dadu1 sudu kecil serbuk lada hitam2 sudu besar tepung gandum3 biji telur1/2 sudu kecil gulagaram mengikut rasasedikit serbuk perasa2 cawan minyak untuk mengoreng

Cara2nya:

Mudah saja nak menyediakannya.Satu dan gaulkan semua bahan2 diatas tadi di dalam mangkuk kecuali telur dan minyak.Setelah sebati masukkan 1 biji telur. Gaul lagi. Seterusnya bentukkan adunan tadi bulat2 sebesar bola ping pong. Setelah menjadi bulat leperkan sedikit setebal 1/2 inci. Buatlah seterusnya sehingga adunan tadi habis. Buatlah sehingga habis. Before, during & after Ramadhan - before & after Raya Aidilfitri...

Salam Lebaran semua,

It's beeennnnnn aggggesssss since I last visited my own blog and write something...gosh, lazy me. Just plain lazy (as though I have other reliable reason to create...)

Hmmm....it was a splendid Ramadhan....had a few 'majlis berbuka' here and there...yg jadi dan yg kensel...experienced it all.

Raya had joined in about a week ago...and I think I still breath ketupat & rendang in the air. Had a few good moment with family during the festive season, 'balik kampung' (it's THE MOST important thing to do during raya), went to my nenek's grave on raya (hmmm....that's the only day yg people make it important to go to cemetery...) lawat saudara mara dan bersalam2an...

It was really hot during raya in Malacca, but still it was fun & enjoyable!!! Well... what else can u expect when u reached everybody's home with raya dishes such as 'ketupat', 'rendang', 'nasi impit', 'kuah kacang', 'masak lodeh'....and so on....all are scrumptious & yummy....10/10....

Today, with the kids going to school after so long a holidays of 9 days...I intend to do myself some goodness and clean the house inside out....it's been topsy curvy when the kids were at home 24/7!!!

Well, selamat hari raya Aidilfitri to all friends and readers. Semoga kita dipanjangkan usia dan dikurniakan Ramadhan sekali lagi....

Thanks for reading

I'm being lazy coz it's too hot!!

Hmmm....

Simply an understatement and an excuse you see...that I'm being lazy in updating my blog coz it's too hot!!! WTH...or am just being plain stupid with no idea to babble about....  ;(

Anyhow... the school holidays were terrific (or in my case terrifying...huhu) cos the house is full of children for a solid 2 weeks...14 days...336 hours...20160 minutes...1209600 seconds... Ha ha ha... as though 3 kids are a hand full!! Selfish me...he he he....

Yelorrr...the kids conquered almost everything!!!

- the main tv with a satellite subscription to you-know-what-company
- they conquered the lappy and desktops too
- not to mention mendling with ipad!!!

So, what's left for me??? Lots and lots and lots of house chores and laundry to be done...phuhh

Oh, did I ever mentioned that a close friend of mine is going on Umra' with his beloved hubby and her in-laws for a fortnite? Hmmm...I even managed to make her promised me to send me a copy of her journal during her Umra' so that I can write on it for my blog...how selfish of me...hehehe...sorry friend, you just have to bear with me on this  ;)

So, being a good friend she is and in keeping her "forced promise" that I made her to sworn, initially she emailed me yesterday 18 emails about her journey to meet her Maker...Gosh, you gotta be kidding me...18 EMAILS, really??? And now I have 18 emails to look into and write something on it...hmm...me and my big mouth!!
Say, I wont be that fast in drafting and editing and publishing it in my blog, and I have to email her the draft first as she would need to approved it ...hmm...so, bear with me in my new post, ok?

Bye for now and thanks for reading...cheers  :)

Law & Order: SVU

Created by: Dick Wolf
Stars : Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni

I really enjoy watching this series. It's sort of my new profound love, other than CSI....hahaha...

Basically the series delves into the dark side of the New York underworld as the detectives of a new elite force, the Special Victims Unit, investigate and prosecute various sexually oriented crimes, while trying to balance the effects of the investigation on their own lives.

Sometimes, it makes we wonder when are we gonna be that good, another question is if ever we are gonna be that good or if such unit THAT Good exist in any part of the world??? Any body dare to answer that?

Eventually, all the series got me caught and hooked on the screen, with my mind trying to figure out and racing to get the outcome first before the end of the show :)

That's pretty good and accelerating ... just plain fun and satisfying

And these two persons are the main characters in the series, Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson!! Just love the good natural acting that really strikes out their roles.

The series are really a hit that it were even aired in Russia!! Good to know that...

Just love watching them and hope that you too.

It's just me in my normal days

Not so good a fortune...mendapat kecederaan parah di ibu jari kaki!!! Like hell, sakit x hengat dihempap pintu almari sliding...!!!

So, my world just went black the last few days, x leh nak g memana, susah nak jalan dgn ibu jari kaki yg berdenyut2...  :'(

Eventually, the pain subdue and at last, last Saturday I managed to go to Bentong with some help from my brother, pak supir x bergaji yg kuat melawan...huhuhu

Now only I realised how I missed the village and its environment. The smell of village air is just....heaven!!! Lama betul rasernya x pergi Bentong, it should be a couples of loooonnnggggg years ago...sampai dah lupa how was it previously. Even the kids were ecstatic in going to Bentong. Bukan lama pun, sehari dua aje, but a very meaningful trip to all of us.

We went to a local night market or pasar malam as we used to call it, in Mempaga 3, about a kilometre away from Perumahan Tras, were my uncle's house is situated. It's been ages since I last went to a pasar malam!!! I didn't even get to enjoy the one in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman every Saturdays!!! Bummer...

I really missed the crowd in the pasar malam and the smell of local dishes being sold there (sorry I didn't get to take pictures of the pasar malam at Mempaga 3, didn't bring my camera) but I managed to snapped these pictures instead from my handphone....recognise what is it?

Oh really, I missed those years on running naked in the village and in the paddy fields...!!! Even my lil' princess has never seen a real sea!!! Gosh...poor baby...that is why I thinking of a family trip to one of those beautiful islands that we have surrounding the Peninsular of Malaysia sometime in October...

Am all jolly and excited of the island trip and I guess that the kids will definitely love it too...none of us has ever been to any of our own beautiful island, and I am gonna mend it!!!

Pulau Tioman, wait for our arrival and we are gonna have fun there too... ^_^

Books, books....and books....and more books

Venue:  Putra World Tarde Centre (PWTC)
Date  :   7th April - 6th May 2012
Event :  International Book Fair 2012

Hmmm....I didn't get to spend my time there...bummer... :'(  It's ok, there's probably another next year (same lame excuses) But hey that doesn't mean that my family & I fall under the "not reading community" , ok...

We went to an infamous bookstore in a shopping mall in Petaling Jaya, well, I think I'm not suppose to write any direct name while blogging (ain't I?)...

We bought several books for the kids, Mr Mama and myself. I just love the smell of new prints!! A good book with a 300+ pages can be read within a day! Subject to no interference from other person, and in my case , my little monsters!!

The kids like to read as well, even though sometimes they are only reading chicky story books but hey, it's not easy to teach someone to simply love reading, I believe that it does not comes naturally.

Oh, since some of the titles from a particular author are finished in the store, I managed to buy them online!! Oh, I just love the net ^_^ and am now expecting those books to arrive in my doorsteps anyday... I shall update you guys on the titles soon...

Thanks for reading this entry ^_^

Rojak oh Rojak!! + Cendol...

Last week, on the way back from post office in Jalan Telawi, Bangsar it was soooo hot!!! Damn hot. My brother who acted as my driver for the day purposely passed by this "rojak" lorry at Jalan Bukit Pantai.

Gosh, the "rojak" was so delicious. I'm not a real fan of rojak but from time to time I would crave for this delicacy...

I've tasted many rojak but personally, I like this one best! And gosh, I would normally finish my portion of this rojak happily...

I would like to consider rojak as a healthy dish since it has vegetables in it (cucumber and sweet turnip, sometimes bean sprouts too) ...Oh, but I don't like my rojak with bean sprouts (taugeh)......raser cam nak mati klu makan taugeh...

Credit goes to these 2 machas yg buat rojak power punya.... Oh, the sambal sotong is delicious too...

Pasni, klu ane-ane ni dah femes...jangan lupa bagi aku makan rojak free & cendol!!!

Cat FoodS!!! Yumm...

Yes, my mom asked me to buy cats' food! (Ala, leceh laaa)...the cats are driving her nuts it seems...they are following her around the house asking for food!!! Begging I dare say...hmm... ni sure mak ngah catu makan ke apa ni...

Not that I'm selfish not to go to the groceries to buy them food but...malas la nak parking kat TMZ Bangsar tu...dah la payah nak parking at those limited space parking...demmm...

Yet, I still went to buy those cats food (literally half heartedly - maafkan anakmu ni Mama...+_+)

Hmm....Look at those cats food section!!! Wow...I never have the idea that I'm going be stuck in the cats food section THAT long just to buy cats food!! Ha ha ha ... serve you right, tu lah...complaint2 lagi...nah amik kau...pilih la mana satu yg nak beli... *_*

Oh, nice shade of pink...(it is relevant...hehe)

Oh, but I like this baby blue!!!  ^_^

Hey, the cat on this packing is looking handsome...gosh...if only mom's cats are these cute... hehehe

Erk...so many brands to choose from...OMG!! Which one is better than the other but I think I remember mom sort of saying that don't buy the pockets ones since the cats won't eat it!!! Hey, makan pun nak pilih2 ke...bukan semua sama je ke raser ikan!??

Oh ok, now I wonder why in the world that these packagings are so nice and colorful and "addictive" to look at...Oh now I know, it's the advertisement for humans!!! Ha ha ha...not that cats can go and shop their food on their own! Kan? Kan? Kan?

Oh ok, a simple task that can be done in less that 2 minutes ended being done at almost half an hour!! Why? Well, I kind of stuck at choosing the foods based on the packaging but then I realised that I should read the nutrition label so that my mom's cats and kittens will be full with good and healthy food!!! Hahaha...now, I myself sounds like an advertisement!!!

Hmm....well, at last I brought this brand (not gonna disclose it here though) and mom's cats are delighted with my choice!! Hah< my choice yeah...not theirs...LOL

Am I going crazy writing about this...hehehe....NOT! (Eh...yakin ke aku yg aku ni x mereng lagi nih...)

Eventually, the results of those yummy food gonna look something like these

Ha ha ha...everyone is satisfied with my choice. (The little girl did not consume any cats food...she's just singing lullaby for them to sleep)...hehehe...

Ok. Enough said, hope that you enjoy reading my rubbish today as I enjoyed making it as grubbish as it is...LOL...confirm mereng aku ni...

Disclaimer: This blogger nor the cats in the photos are getting any credits on the photos of the cats food. The cats food photos included in this posts are not meant for an advertisement, they are being uploaded as it was taken at a groceries store.

Trip to Bali Part 2

As promised, this entry is about Bali again and I hope this will be the last entry on it, not the last trip to Bali ... hehehe...ala2 verangan nak g lagi la ni...Tapi Bali mmg sempoi...

Let's see...

On my 2nd day in Bali, I went for sightseeing. Yea lorr... kalau x g melawat tempat-tempat tumpuan pelancong, gimana nak tau budaya mereka...yea x?

Earlier on before departing to Bali, I've arrange with a local guide for a half day tour in several tourists attraction in some part of Bali.

A few hours in front of my lappy (sampai keluaq ayaq mata mengadap screen) and blog walking from 1 blog to another... (sib baik x berpeluh - peluh sbb its eventually didn't need any physical movement except for my fingers to dance on the keyboard and my eyes to read >_< I end up contacting this fella, Ketut Diana.

Don't be fooled, the name read as "Diana" but it's a man. I managed to ask him about it later when I met him in Bali, it seems that the name Diana is a comman name for male!! Hmm...sib baik nama aku bukan Diana.

His rate is reasonable and can be consider as cheap. USD20 for a half day trip, lebih kurang RM60.00 waktu tu utk half day trip. Ok what...? This Ketut Diana may be reached at this web address http://www.baliroundtrip.com/index.php and his profile and tour company can also be view at http://www.baliroundtrip.com/about_bali_guide.php Manalah tau kot2 esok-esok korang pulak nak gi Bali kan...so, kumpullah duit dari sekarang...ngeh ngeh ngeh...

So, enjoy the pictures on souveniours that I managed to take and sensored (some of the souveniours are a bit "nasty looking" walaupun ada yg satu dua terlepas gak kat sini)

These photos were taken from several souveniours shops.

Later, I went to Jimbaran, a fishing village and tourist attraction located to the south of Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.

The purpose of going to Jimbaran was to have seafood dinner while looking at the sunset...perghhhh, macamlah kat sini xde sunset at the beach...hmmm. The food was delicious but expensive, yup really really expensive...jutaan rupiah yea. The dish that I chose was priced at Rph. 3,800,00.00 (about RM1,271.00!!) Tak percaya? Percayalah....mahal sebab ader lobster kot...

Oh, the nite before (the 1st day of arrival) I had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe since I was occupying the hotel. The food was so-so, nothing that special just like other HR Cafe I guess except that this cafe is in Bali so for Muslim patrons, do ask before you order...

Well, I guess that's it for now...hope that you enjoy reading it as I enjoyed writing it...

^_^
